A single line of poetry...

If you were to have one line of poetry tattooed on your body what would it be? AND WHY?

For me I think it would have to be Stevie Smith's
forgive me, forgive me for here where I stand there is noone beside me, no lover at hand. No footsteps but mine in my desert of sand.

The first time I read this I cried, I nearly always cry when I read this poem, it is deeply moving and completely touching.

I think I'll cheat and say I'd rather have a line of music on my body. My favorite piece of music is the Moonlight Sonata, that would look fetching around my ankle I think.

If I had to choose a poem, it would be some part of the "The Lake at Innisfree" by Yeats. Love that poem for the sense of peace it gives me. The line would most likely be: "Midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet's wings."
